Saudi Prince Bandar [Bush] bin Sultan attempts COUP, and FAILS!

    This SHOULD be BIG news:
In kingdom, Saudi prince's coup 'fails'

...except, I heard no mention of it in the mainstream international press.

Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the kingdom's former ambassador to the United States, is reportedly under house arrest over a conspiracy against the monarch.

He said Saudi sources believe that intelligence provided by some Arab countries help the Saudi monarch foil Prince Bandar's conspiracy.

Power struggle between members of the Saudi royal family has been common as power is shared among some 200 princes out of the estimated 7000 family members.

Known as Bandar Bush because of his close relations with former US President George W Bush, the prince is son of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz.

200 princes out of 7000 family members, out for power struggle. Now put that next to the fact that Bandar is a confirmed MI6 asset, and a very close member of the BushCrimeFamilia circles. In fact, Bandar was the first one to invest in W's first of many failed ventures, Arbusto (shrub) Oil co. That's where he gets his nickname Bandar BUSH.

But the latest intel suggests that Bandar's reportedly met with Vladmir Putin several times recently. [If anyone has more on their meetings, please post them.]

This makes the recent news of TWO Russian Akula class NUCLEAR submarines parked off the Eastern seaboard, all the more pertinent.
Nuclear submarines off US coast 'nothing to worry about' says Russia - Times Online

This is Putin essentially saying, 'Don't f*ck with us.' Russia has enough invested in Iran, to warrant a military defense against any Anglo-American-IDF moves. Now if they get Saudi Arabia under their influence, the Oil geopolitical dynamic COMPLETELY shifts. Then the battered Iraq is but a stone's throw away; considering how we're viewed there now, along with losing power of the dollar, even with the American puppet gvt in Baghdad, Maliki would have no choice but either tie the knot with the Russians, or the Chinese, or BOTH.

If this is true it could spell a flood of intelligence being leaked about the US and the Bush regime.

Also worth remembering - Bandar figures strongly in the BAE scandal. The UK government, under threat of the loss of Saudi intelligence and consequential terrorist attacks, buried the scandal. This might be brought back to life with a vengeance.

If Iran says it, then it must be true. The Shia regime has an incentive to undermine a Sunni and pro-US rival.

This would be the sort of thing that would lead news broadcasts. If it's not being mentioned by the MSM, then I sincerely doubt it's happened. The current king is - for Saudis at least - less conservative than many.

Has anyone seen this guy around in the last three months?...

Is Britain losing the run of itself altogether ? There seem to be some suggestions (although not necessarily correct) that Britain ran ahead with plans for a colour revolution in Iran while Israel and the US, wary of Mousavi, pulled back.

Is there a real divergance opening up between the US and UK, or is it all smoke and mirrors?

Obama put down a firm marker to the UK with his dismissive treatment of Brown. The Blair/Brown government was probably too close to the Cheney/Blackwater crowd who are hated by Obama/the CIA.

The British??? Next you'll be talking about the Trucial States and British Honduras. I enjoy the sometimes bizarre nostalgia of Britain being an imperial power. Apparently the Iranian government goes in for some too.
