It wouldn't be miniscule if it was your mother.
And if your mother was among the ~1,500 killed by the Israeli "Defence" Forces this year, I'm sure you wouldn't downplay their lethal offensives either.

But the point is this: you are not portraying the realities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

You want an outpouring of sympathy for rocket attack victims in Israel (under 10?) but have a complete blind spot regarding Palestinians killed.

When the rocket attacks are so often used by you and other Zionists as a pretext for full-scale war, I think people need to know the facts.

Bottom line is of course, like your "war with Iran is inevitable" remark, your biased perspective on civilian suffering is all part of war propaganda.

Republican strategist John Weaver said it could take a generation or two for the Republicans to recover.

They are so split that they may not be able to destroy Obama's health care reform plan in the way they did to Clinton's in 1994.

Two of their rising stars, Mark Sanford and John Ensign have been caught in extra-marital affairs, which goes down badly in a party famous for nauseatingly fake religiosity.

Only one in 3 Americans view the party favourably.

Finally, not only do the Reps not have the intellectual rigour to come up with their own ideas to oppose Obama but they have nobody to deliver the message.

Things are very bleak for the GOP.

Obama has QUADRUPLED the deficit. His health care proposals will bankrupt the US. His poll ratings are dropping sharply. He will be a one term president. There has been a serious clash of opinion with Clinton in the last week. Clinton may run again. I laugh when I read your comments re intellectual rigour. The most formidable debater and generator of ideas on the American scene is Newt Gingrich. The man would destroy Obama in a debate.

    We need the oil.

War with Iran is an inevitablity. Either the West undertakes it now while it still can without fear of nuclear annihilation of major cities, or we wait, like we did for Hitler, for them to strike the West directly or indirectly with Weapons of Mass distruction or economically by shutting the straits of Hormuz.

A quick war ASAP(no-one's talking about another Iraq style invasion, just a tactical attack, regime change and Finlandisation and so on) will be in everyone's interest.
The main problem is that there is not a snowballs chance in hell that you will be fighting in it. If you could guarantee that you will be one of the first into Iran I might support it.

All true, unfortunately it is a bit rich watching republicans voting against bailouts when they were voting for them a few months back.

And maybe we can find a republican who is still on his first wife and that she dosn't have a pair of Larry Craigs either.

FBI has come out and said that there is no investigation of anything related to Palin taking place.

So it is unlikely that there is any scandal to break.

It appears she just tired of the heat and decided to leave the kitchen.

I don't blame you for being confused but that was a vote on an amendment on the Friday. The vote on HR1424 occured the following Friday and the vote was 263/171 for.

Public Law 110-343 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

91 republicans for and 108 against

The senate voted 74 yae 25 nay

    34 republicans yae 14 nay

The republicans own the bailouts and can not now pretend Obama invented them

I think it was a kind of Lisbon Treaty scenario: we're going to keep asking you until you give the right answer.
