Isn't he great for his age?

Looking at TV3 last night (with the sound off) I saw a nursing home resident being interviewed. "Another HSE scandal!" I thought until I watched RTÉ and discovered he was the new US Ambassador, Dan Rooney.

    Is his appointment
    • positive ageing, or
    • mere cronyism?

At first glance he looks a lot fitter and healthier than most of the fat, lazy, malnourished slobs that make up an increasingly large portion of the Irish male population.

A life long Republican and founder of the "American Ireland Fund". It would be interesting to see what that has paid for over the years.

    Also a big Obama fundraiser.

All helps to fill in the picture of who Obama is politically.

    One example of their work
