They are there under UN mandate.
Taliban fighters are attacking the UN forces.
    UN forces are retaliating.

    Do you get it now?
Just because one dislikes the bloodsoaked british army does not mean one dislikes all British people. Many of them I know are disgusted by the actions of their own armed forces down through the years. Don't forget as in this country armed/security forces are tools of the estaiblishment and are not there to serve the interests of the people.

For Aindriu the Brit apologist trash bag, who clearly cannot read. Here is the title of the thread:

Do you get it now you daft twat?

And as Ecoguy says, criticising the British Army or Government does not make one anti-Brit. I, for one, live in Britain. I enjoy it and I find most people to be friendly and to be against these 2 ridiculous wars.

Insults like that betray your lack of intelligence. Shouldn't you go and see if your ma has washed your spare pair of tracky bottoms and Celtic shirt?

See there you go again with your statements that make no sense.

You are attacking people for criticising the Brit army on a thread which is about the Brit army. That is braindead on your behalf, but that is what we have come to expect from you.

You are also accusing people of being anti-brit just because they oppose the actions of the Brit army. Another braindead idea from you.

Could you quote chapter and verse actions taken by Irelands Defence Forces which would back up that statement ?

We are talking about the British army not the Irish army you..what was it you called Aindriu...oh yeah daft twat. That's why I didn't join. That doesn't mean I don't support what they doing in Afghanistan as part of UN mandated operation. You seem to have trouble with the bit in italics. I suppose you'd pull all foreign troops out and let them at it would you? That was sooooooooo successful in the past

Completely invalid point as per usual from the armchair supporter. Irish men are legally entitled to join the British army. So answer the question you clown, why are you not out there fighting seeing as you are such a big supporter of this war?

The foreign troops have no right to be there, there is no valid reason to be there. It is amazing how your right wing loons cite the UN when they favour you but ignore then when they dont i.e. Iraq.

Ironically he was killed by a roadside bomb and one of the other six Brit commanders to be killed was killed at Narrow Water; where the IRA used a roadside bomb and a secondary booby trap. In that instance the dead Brit commander was Lt. Colonel David Blair.

Thorneloe was killed with another Brit in Helmand and this is an example of the price they pay to secure the opium crop.

one down just a couple thousand to go!
