    Ahmadinejad Won. Get Over it.

The 10% recount, conducted openly and with opposition witnesses, has confirmed Ahmadinejad’s resounding win in the Iranian Presidential elections.

    Report on the recount.

Guardian Council confirms Ahmadinejad winner of Iran elections – The CNN Wire - CNN.com Blogs

A number of well informed commentators have been calling it a win for Ahmadinejad since the day of the elections. Other commentators have pointed to the campaign by the Rafsanjani-Mousavi camp to discredit the election even before it was held. Iranian elections in fact have a reputation for being comparatively well run.

Before the elections, an Ahmadinejad win was assumed to be inevitable: in the days running up to the vote rumours began to circulate of a surprise Mousavi surge (Ganley campaign, anyone?). This was in spite of the fact that Mousavi was not that well known and that he was agreed to have had his ass whupped in the Presidential tv debates.

And what does this add to whether of not Ahmadinejad won the election?

They as in the goverment forces!!

& The recount was a farse, they rigged the election, and before it could be fair they need a new unrigged election!!!!

So Ahmadinejad did not win the election, he stole the election!!!!

Cactusflower, if someone posted a thread like this eight years ago with "Bush won. Get over it" as the title, I bet you'd be up in arms.

Let's call time on the use of an innocent woman's tragic death for political purposes.

I would have argued the case based on information on the election process and polls, not gratuitously thrown in a photograph of a dead woman killed after the poll was finished.

Do you have any evidence that either the original poll and the recount were fixed?
