Should Jacqui Smith ban Kevin Myers?

Should British Labour Party Home secretary Jacqui Smith ban Kevin Myers?

Other notable banned people include Westboro Baptist Church Pastor, Fred Phelps.

Why would she want to ban him? Being an obnoxious know-it-all isn't a crime.

I think you mean - soon to be former Home secretary jacqui Smith.

She was caught with her fingers in the till which means you have to resign in the UK.

She'll have to ban herself from the UK for gross incompetence.

Well, the fact that he was soon to be leaving the Oval Office didn't stop George W Bush organizing more nuclear weapons proliferation, so maybe she will take a leaf out of George's book and ban a shed full of folks before she leaves office?

Bye the way, approximately three thousand people died on 9/11, a relatively low yield nuclear weapon detonated in New York would kill upwards of a hundred and fifty thousand people.

Does she have form in banning people? Some basis for this thread would be appreciated. Otherwise it's just a tease using the Myers name in conjunction with the word ban. If I want to be teased there are better things available online.
Well if Mr Myers is a UK subject, he would I presume not be covered by the legislation which she usually uses to ban folks since as best I know they are not UK subjects but I presume they also have legislation to ban non-resident UK subjects from entering the UK, so I presume she could still ban him if he is a UK subject but I could be wrong on that. Well she banned Fred Phelps, so she does have form on banning folks.

Myers is a Brit - can he be banned from his own country?

He should be banned from Ireland.

I am not sure if he can be banned from the UK, if he is a British subject I think there was at least one person who was resident in Northern Ireland and they were banned from visiting the mainland UK, so maybe that legislation would do the job. What about Islamofascists should they be banned from Ireland?

Might be difficult for her to ban anybody considering she's out on her ear....
