    The Burmese junta is one of the most brutal regimes on the planet yet it commands very little media attention especially
    I disagree.

    Burma is a small country with relatively little international strategic importance. I would say that - for what it's worth to Ms. Suu Kyi - her plight receives a lot of media attention. Not to mention pompous preaching by a certain Mr. Hewson. As if the poor woman hadn't suffered enough.
