This is not that big a story.

A complaint was made, and will be investigated. If the guy did say that, he is an idiot and will probably be expelled from the party. (And rightly so).

Some people are jumping up and down with glee at an exposure of "racism of the left" might be better of staying in their seats. There are idiots in every party, and across the political spectrum unfortunately

If this is indeed true, Mr Hussain should be ejected from the Labour party post haste. This sort of behviour is sickening in the extreme and the British Labour party should be ashamed of itself.

If, OTOH, this is just some Daily Mail bullplop, then Ms Cohen may find herself up sh it creek without a means of propulsion.

The title of this thread is misleading. She was told she was 'too white and Jewish', not 'too white and too Jewish'.

I don't really see the problem here tbh, obviously it's wrong, but also it's a political party and it's a democracy. The people of England have the choice not to vote for them. Shouldn't be allowed do this but I'd say it's pretty common that candidates are chosen based on factors like especially when there is such a huge culture divide emerging in Britain.
