It's a very strange "apartheid" that Israel applied against its Arabs, as that same population exceeds most of the Arab populations in the neighbouring countries and in many European countries.

It's an apartheid that permits that Arab population to identify with enemies and factors that call for the destruction of Israel.

There are gaps between the Jewish population and the Arab population, but this gap emanates not from mere discrimination (there still is a discrimination) but mainly from their being an oppressive society:

Look around a million Jews were thrown out of the arab world in the years around 1948. They have to go somewhere. Even if one counts habitable land only the Jews are more than entitled to a homeland based on their percentage of the region alone in Israel.

One of the greatest achievements of that corrupt little weed Yassar Arafat was to swindle the world into believing that this was a confrontation between big bad Israelis and helpless Palestinians. "Horribly discriminated against in America"? And you give examples of refused entry to hotels and restaurants? That type of discrimination is a walk in the park to what Jews faced in Europe and Russia where pogroms and expulsions were the norm. Apartheid" means seperateness, and certainly applies to the zionist state where the indigenous people are not allowed to live in areas specifically designated as jewish. There are several other examples, but the one I gave is sufficient.
