Maybe Dwyer was just the most unlucky person in the world. His life seems to be full of coincidences.

The Bolivian vice president was interviewed and here are some things he disclosed.
- Metioned Rozsa entered the country and had two separate identities, he proposes the question, if Rozsa was from Santa Cruz why was he staying at a hotel with a false identity, and why did he move around hotels in the same city.
- He said it was alarming to him that Rozsa was a recruiter, idealogue, a military trainer, and a dangerous man who had began recruiting folks since 2008.
- Reporter asked him questions about the claims of a shootout taking place, the security cameras being disabled, and the absence of a fiscal in the operation, and how long the cadavers were in the hotel. Vice Pres said that this was a sensitive operation and different from a common operation, and the dangers to the police were much more elevated. He went on to say that he wants to know exactly how the operation went down and will meet with the operations officer before commenting further. He then reminded the reporter that he was in Brazil during the operation and had not yet met with the officer in charge.
-Reporter asks whether this group was responsible for the dynamite attack on the Catholic ministers home. Vice Pres said there is evidence to suggest that the group was behind the attack on the Cardinal as well as previous attacks on gov minister named Saul Avalos, and a delegate named Gabriela Montano.
-Vice Pres goes on to mention that this group and their associates posed a real threat, and it puzzles him that they have been characterized as simple artists and musicians by some. He says the intel he has suggests they were much more than just simple artist or musicians/tourists.
-He finished by saying that there is only about 10% known regarding this group and their larger supporting structure. Rozsa was in the country to recruit and train paramilitaries to destabilize the country. He mentioned that their funding and logistics structure is much larger than what we think, and that they had a lot of help while in Bolivia. He mentions the presence of ultra right wing fascist organizations intending to provoke violence and chaos within the country and questions where the training camps are located. He says much more will be known in the near future, but he says his allegations are based on concrete intelligence and documentation they've received.
Branko Marinkovic is one of the wealthiest man in Bolivia. He is a US educated businessman whose family fled Croatia about 50yrs ago. He has been accused of amassing over 20,000 acres of land illegally (he denies this) Both his siblings have also been accused of money laundering and state theft (they too deny this) He is one of Morales' harshest critics and one of the leaders of the opposition, as well as one of the men with most to lose if Morales has his way regarding land reforms and investigations into the wealth of some of these men.
Bolivias Santa Cruz region has been rallied under an autonomy cry by the department governor and his allies. All the rallies, all the department flags, propaganda, songs, t-shirts, etc are all a fairly new phenomenon since Morales has taken power. Who funds all of this? The department civic association, and who is the president of the civic association? Mr Marinkovic.
The civic association the department governor and their allied groups, like the Nacion Camba (Seperatist, racist group) are all different arms of the same entity. They are a very tight knit group, and anyone who has lived in Santa Cruz will tell you they're different faces of the same person.
Here is the Nacion Camba group, notice they formed their own "municipal guard" that are independent of the police and answer only to the Nacion camba leaders. These are not boy scouts. The indigenous women in the video are crying because they claim they've been beaten and attacked by this group. These are the guys that ran around the city with a swastika on their jeep.

These same opposition leaders last year orchestrated the taking of government institutions by their groups of armed thugs. It ultimately failed and peace was restored. There are members of this opposition who truly are radical ideologue extremists while others are just anti socialist who want to protect their interests. There is division inside the opposition with one of the most committed of them having fled (Mauricio Iturri) to Miami USA after the failed taking of government institutions last year, he is the current Santa Cruz governors harshest critic from abroad and calls him a traitor.
My own personal view is that Michael Dwyer had no idea the true severity of what he was getting into. I don't think there was a shootout and I don't think this was a hit squad at all. I do think that Rozsa and some of the others where there to recruit, smuggle guns, and train guerrilla forces that would eventually try and topple the government. I don't think Dwyer knew all the facts, and I would be very interested to know what his employer has to say and who paid for Dwyer to fly to the middle of nowhere in Bolivia and hang around someone like Rozsa who affiliated himself with a despicable group like Nacion Camba and was hell bent against a democratically elected president. I hope his family eventually finds the truth, and I would be pressing the Irish government and his employer for answers.
