There was confusion regarding the nationalities of the foreigners killed. While the chief of police said two of those killed were from Hungary, several local media organizations reported they were from Romania and Ireland.
So I guess the misinformation came from the police.

Maybe they had lots of passports?

True, but maybe the local Bolivian police were misled by Hungarian passports or something? i don't know - they just seemed fairly certain in the early reports that it was two Hungarians for some reason.

Begod, if the Irish don't get everywhere.

If it's not an Irish pub in Uzbekistan, it's an Irish mercernary in Bolivia...although having an 'Irish' passport in a mercenary's possession is no guarantee that either the mercenary or the passport is Irish.

The Bolivian president is Chavez without the charisma. There is a new wave of anti-democratic left wing movement in South America, what do they expect?
As for the "Irish" involvement, being a right wing movement and the fact that they tried to destroy a bishop's home my money is on a former member of a Unionist terror group.
