From the Washington Times- SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia — The government of President Evo Morales has declared war on U.S. Ambassador Philip Goldberg, with Bolivia’s government accusing the American Embassy of financing opposition parties and threatening to expel the U.S. envoy.
“Enough with the conspiracy headed by the ambassador of the United States in Bolivia,” said Mr. Morales, who has threatened to declare Mr. Goldberg persona non grata.
Speaking at an Ibero-American summit this month in Chile, Mr. Morales accused Mr. Goldberg of leading an “international right-wing network.”
“If the U.S. Embassy wants to leave and take away its aid, the doors are open,” he said.
Mr. Morales also blamed Mr. Goldberg for recent bombings aimed at Venezuelan and Cuban targets in Bolivia.
“It’s clear that Morales wants the U.S. Embassy to go,” said Hugo Acha, a lawyer in Santa Cruz who has been a State Department consultant. “It’s interfering with his plans, and the ambassador could become a reference point for the opposition as the government radicalizes.”

Was there ever much doubt ?

He was also a "War on Drugs" consultant. He claims to be a lecturer at a Military College in Bolivia. I can't find anything on this.

    PSA CEO at meeting

There is an article by Lorna Siggins in today's Irish Times stating that Geraldine Larkin, chief executive of the Private Security Authority, has been invited to discuss the policing of the Corrib gas project with north Mayo residents today. The piece continues:

'The invitation to Ms Larkin arose as a result of recent discussions between Mr Ó Cuív and representatives of Galway Shell to Sea over concerns about the private security company working for Shell in Erris.

Last year, security guards contracted to Shell at the Glengad landfall for the Corrib gas pipeline aroused criticism for not wearing clear identification, and for apparently filming local residents, including children walking to the beach.

Mr John Monaghan of community group Pobal Chill Chomáin made several efforts on behalf of the community to raise the issues with the Private Security Authority, which is charged with enforcing the Private Security Act 2004.

Following the shooting dead of Tipperary man Michael Dwyer in Bolivia some three-months ago, it was confirmed that he had worked as a security man at Glengad last year. Questions were raised about whether the engineering graduate had full security guard authorisation for the IRMS work at the time.

Two months ago on April 23rd , Rossport resident Willie Corduff was hospitalised overnight in Castlebar, following a confrontation with Shell security at Glengad.

Mr Corduff had lodged himself under a truck in protest over authorisation for works carried out by Shell at the Glengad landfall in advance of planning permission for the Corrib pipeline.

Investigations have also been demanded to establish the facts surrounding the recent sinking of a shellfish boat owned by fishermen and Shell to Sea supporter Pat O’Donnell off Erris Head. Raising the issue in the Dáil, Labour Party’s Michael D Higgins asked Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern to establish the “status of the existing legislation on the practice of private security companies, and what specifically, is their relationship with the Garda Commissioner”.'

Thanx for that El Libre. Very relevant stuff given that the Solitaire will be in Irish waters within days. This could be the most serious showdown yet between Shell/State militias(Navy spotted tonight in waters off Erris this evening) with a strong possiblity of life threatening injuries or worse to locals/protestors going on what has happened over the last few years. This situation is getting more and more like the Niger Delta with Shell in combination with a government implementing their corrupt giveaway of natural resources, determined to use everything up to and including lethal force, to pipe oil/gas through an increasingly impoverished country where everyone but the connected elite will be crushed as the recession really winds itself up

    IRMS online status

The long updating of the website of Integrated Risk Management Services continues, having lasted two months now since shortly after the shooting of employee Michael Dwyer in Bolivia in April. The infamous IRMS offer of 'armed and unarmed international security' has now lapsed from Google cache but is archived here.
The CV of rightist paramilitary and Bolivian expedition organiser Tibor Revesz, indicating that his employment with IRMS was still current this year, remains in Google cache. Note that the Foireann Cahil flash video showing armed exercises is still playing in the top right hand corner of the CV. Google cache no longer appears to have details of the IRMS close protection course involving arms training formerly advertised on the Foireann Cahil website. Fortunately, the full text of this document is quoted at post #2116 on our thread here. Finally, one wonders if a new triumphalist Operation Solitaire Shield badge is in production?

Indeed, its just been on the news with local groups boycotting the sham process the government put in place to distract the irish people from their own blatant criminality in North Mayo.

The issue may also be on Q and A tonight given Eamonn Ryan and Joe Higgins are on.

In yesterday's Sunday World (page 55) theres a report saying that Tibor Revesz and Michael Dwyer flew from Ireland to Madrid last november 17 and then on to Bolivia. Their tickets were paid by "a high profile Bolivian lawyer who left Santa Cruz last month and is now in the US"

Revesz left Bolivia in January and Dwyer stayed on with Rosza Flores.

I haven't got a link to that article.

Oh well, i was wrong about Q and A. The cover up continues, no doubt in anticipitation of the coming weeks events when a countries Navy will be used against its own people in a civil dispute - No wonder SHELL increasingly act like their in some remote part of Nigeria when it comes to North Mayo
