Who would ask it? Sinn Fein? I can't see FG or Labour being interested.

Unfortunately youre right. Nobody cares when Shell, the Gardai or IRMS openly flout the law in Mayo. Nobody is concerned when a judge married to a FF minister doesnt disqualify herself despite her apparent bias.

Mercenaries, extreemists, fascists and gun fantasists seem to suit IRMS work.

The media just churn out Shell PR and we the sheep have to swallow it.

Meanwhile in Bolivia more details are emerging from laptops seized. Strategic targets for Militia etc.on Flores computer. Recruitment pages for mercenaries designed by Elod Toaso and more.

Im begining to believe that Flores was a dangerous fantasist who when the scenario of popular Civil resistance receded, and his backers funds were not as forthcoming decided to engage in action himself to start a civil war. The first step in this was the bombing of the Cardinals residence the day before he was killed. The next step would have been assanination of some civic leaders to forment a reaction. A classic false flag operation which would have catapulted him into a leadership role.

The bombing meant that he had gone from "talking" into an operational false flag mode and left the Bolivian Authorites with no alternative but take him and his group out.
Michael Dwyer was with Flores when the bomb was planted. He was no innocent bystander.

Special Forces from La Paz were used because there were question marks over the local Police.
Whether it was possible to arrest them without killing them will remain a moot point down to the manner in which the operation was carried out. There was an exchange of Gunfire and people died. The main operational error seems to be that the hotel rooms were entered sequentially.

The Blast and shooting in Flores rooms woke the others. A decision appears to have been made to neutralise him.
Dwyer in the adjoining room is reported to have fired shots as did Arpad in the room next to him. Only the occupants of the last two rooms on the corridor survived by lying on the floor in a surrender position.

It is a story that will run for months to come in Bolivia and it is unfortunate that a young foolish Irishman has damaged our reputation there.

Proceedings in terrorism case , paralyzed by an Injunction.
La prensa SEGURIDAD | LA PRENSA | LA PAZ - BOLIVIA
This is expected to delay proceedings for a month.
District Courts of Justice in La Paz and Santa Cruz may not issue warrants, orders and subpoenas in the case of alleged terrorism while the injunction is resolvedThe injunction arose from a request by the former president of the Committee for Santa Cruz, Branko Marinkovic, the president of the Federation of Private Entrepreneurs Cruz, Pedro Yovhío, the president of the Federation of Livestock Santa Cruz (Fegasacruz), Guido Nayar, the representative Telecommunications Cooperative of Santa Cruz (Cotas), Ruf Mulk, and the president of the Agricultural Chamber of the East (CAO), Walter Mauricio Roca, who were involved in the case of alleged terrorism
If the case is transferred to Santa Cruz the full details of the case will never emerge as prominent lawyers, civic leaders, and large commercial interests are involved.

Nicaragua - more of the same ?

I noticed that the Human Rights Foundation was putting a lot of emphasis into funding / aka fomenting division among the indigenous people in Santa Cruz.

There are indigenous people in Nicaragua who are involved in separatism: government members point their fingers at the US. Is this true, or not, I wonder ?

Career Diplomats that have have postings in hotspots like Iraq, Balkans are invariably CIA (EX?).
The US hasnt stopped playing in Nicaragua since Reagans days or when GH Bush was head of the CIA. Remember the Contras. NED funded the opposition to the Sandinistas more recently etc.
The founder of HRF Thor Halvorssen's.father was involved with the CIA and the Contras.
Prior to that they propped up dictatorships etc.
With Daniel Ortega's election expect to see more HRF, NED USAID involvement etc there

    Questions for IRMS

Listening this morning to an RTE radio piece on the Corrib gas controversry (Pat Kenny show, Myles Dungan standing in). There was an interview with James Farrell of Integrated Risk Management Services (IRMS) in which his replies to questions gave the impression of a reasonable man doing his best in a difficult situation, using properly trained and licensed staff and '100% compliant' with the law. A different impression might have been created if questions such as the following had been put to Farrell:

How many of the individuals killed, arrested or sought by the Bolivian authorities as a result of recent events in Santa Cruz were ever employed by IRMS?

What is IRMS's relationship with Tibor Revesz and why did not background checks reveal his far-right and paramilitary connections?

Do you have any comment on the fact that a notice concerning an IRMS training course involving firearms was posted on a website relating to a paramilitary group organised by Revesz?

Do you have an opinion concerning the Operation Glengad and Operation Solitaire badges formerly sold online by Mr Revesz, and were these the titles of phases of IRMS's security work for Shell in Mayo?

Can you explain the significance of other badges sold by Revesz, eg, referring to Foireann Cahil, Foireann Ardal, etc?

Did IRMS provide firearms training to its former employee, the late Michael Dwyer?

What precisely is meant by services formerly advertised on IRMS's website described as 'special services', 'international armed and unarmed security' and 'international security services in hostile environments'?

Why was the IRMS website taken offline after the death of Michael Dwyer in Bolivia on April 16th last and why is it still offline two months later?

Why did IRMS's employee Michael Dwyer not have the appropriate Private Security Authority (PSA) license for security work for Shell in Mayo?

How many IRMS staff are working without any or appropriate PSA licenses on the Shell project in Mayo?

Why do IRMS staff not display identification badges when working on Shell security in Mayo?
