Today's La Prensa has an article on Revesz organising a trainingsession forthe guerilla group between the 1st and 10th of December. It uses the photo I identified Revesz witha a question mark in the background of a photo with Flores. The identification is not definite imho. Im afraid that this thread is feeding the Bolivian media that we are feeding from. The article references the courses advertised on the cahil.tk website. (now available only in the photosniper google cache.
The article includes a brief interview with Elod's sister.

From an irish point of view it confirms that that both Dudog and Dwyers family were told their sons travelled to Bolivia for a course. That both had worked in IRMS.
Best to stick to original sources to avoid recirculating speculation. I think we have done that much of the time on this thread.

It is unlikely that much more new can be contributed here, unless we hear from someone who went on the "training course" to Bolivia.

For those who might have surfed on in here on account of the above link, here are some facts which might suggest there is something more to Rapple's comments than Dan Brown-style paranoia:

Michael Dwyer was recruited for the Bolivian trip by Tibor Revesz and both worked for Integrated Risk Management Services (IRMS) on Shell security work in Mayo.

Revesz leads a shadowy right-wing Hungarian paramilitary group called the Szekler Legion, whose website photosniper.freedom.hu has now been pulled, but the Google cache still holds information on links with IRMS, specifically an advertisement for an IRMS training course including weapons instruction.

IRMS was founded by two former Irish Army Rangers and advertises itself as an international operation, but its website has been down since shortly after Dwyer's death and the firm refuses to answer questions about the Bolivian affair.

Shell of course has interests in Bolivia which have been badly hit by Evo Morales's programme of nationalisation, so that when some of its former(?) security operative from Mayo turn up in that country questions may legitimately be asked.

All points worthy of investigation rather than sneering by Irish journalists, one would have thought. Strangely enough, that crusty right-wing Irish Independent journalist Bruce Arnold may have surprised a lot of people by writing an article very critical of the Irish state's handing over of gas resources to Shell, posted on another thread here: http://www.politics.ie/green-party/6...s-debacle.html

Having apologised to Morales for allowing right-wing subversives to use Ireland as a training ground and recruiting point for an assault on his regime, our government might have a few words with his people as to the mechanics of er, renegotiating the Corrib gas deal with Shell.

I get a 'down for maintenance' message for various pages at http://photosniper.freedom.hu/aruhaz/ Revesz's autobiography definitely has not returned, but a Google cache with a reference to his employment by IRMS can still be retrieved. The Foireann Cahil/Charlie Team section of Photosniper's site advertising the IRMS close protection course is also still in Google cache. Yes, the International Protective and Security Academy is still online.

    Interesting Szekely website here:
In 1918, at the end of WWI, the Szeklers tried to establish their own state, the Republic of Szeklerland, but were hindered by both the politicians of the collapsing Hungary and the invading Romanians helped by the French.

Today Szeklerland is still under Romanian occupation, accomplished against the will of its inhabitants. Its people is subject to human right abuses, discrimination, persecuted and deprived of land and national resources.
The founding and activity of genuine Szekler organisations is hindered by both the intolerant Romanian government and by the leaders of the Hungarians of Romania, whose organisation, the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania is part of the governing coalition. Presently the Szeklers are denied not only the exercise of self-determination but even the official use of their own script and their own ethnic name.

In the same time it seems that Romania's accession in 2007 will be accepted by the EU in spite of its incomplete and retarded process of democratisation and regardless of the Szeklers' plight. Thus Romania will bring into Europe the unsolved case of the last of the small European nations lacking any collective rights. This is likely to transform Szeklerland - where the tension is already increasing, in a trouble-generating spot with serious implications for the European security.

In order to promote the Szeklers cause, on 25 June 2005 it was constituted in Belfast the group of the Friends of Szeklerland. If you would like to obtain more information about Szeklerland please do not hesitate to contact us.

We hope that this information will be useful whenever you will have to take decisions related to Romania and/or Szeklerland.

In the name of Friends of Szeklerland, yours respectfully,

    Levente B***.
    A new empire is envisaged:
    The Danubian or Visegrad Confederation

It is not enough for the Danubian nations to individually rush into the European Union. In addition to that, they should work for the establishment of an economically self-sufficient, politically stable and geographically large enough federation of say 100 million, which by itself is able to fill the power vacuum of the region.

Neither Western Europe, nor the UN or NATO can fill the present power vacuum in Central Europe and therefore they are not competent to resolve the problems of the region. History teaches us, that the Balkans became unstable whenever a power vacuum evolved in the Carpathian Basin. The wise learn from history, instead of repeating it's errors: The tragedy of Trianon will not be corrected and justice and stability will not be returned, by maintaining the status quo.

What is needed - once the minority problems are solved through autonomy - is to build a federation like that of the Baltic states within the European Union. A strong Danubian Federation, one that can be crystallized around the nucleus of Hungary, Slovakia, Ruthenia, Slovenia and Croatia. A federation that would be larger than France and could later expand to include Romania, Serbia or even Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and more.

History does not solve problems accidentally. Those who want a better future must first have a plan, a concept of that future. For the stability and prosperity of Central Europe, that plan should start with the autonomy for all the minorities and should end with a voluntary federation. It would be fitting, if on the 86st anniversary of the dismemberment of the Hungarian Kingdom, - after the unnecessary and undeserved suffering of three generations of innocent ethnic minorities -, the process of rebuilding, not of an ancient nation state, but of the Federation of Central Europe would be started.

    From the Legion website:

    Fighters trained by extreme sports

Secuiesti are members of racolati among young intellectuals, working in Hungary, from intellectuals recommended by the priests of the four historic Hungarian churches in Transylvania. Number Legion members, according to estimates of a priest of the Reformed Székelyudvarhely, lies between four and five thousand militants. By oath by Legion soldiers, they are compelled to perform without the right to appeal the orders received from the Supreme Commander, one Revesz Tibor.

Young people who join the organization are trained as paramilitary soldiers troops military interventions of the English army to carry out research activities, sabotage and fight at close quarters. They are taught to manuiasca different arms, light weapons fire, as well as methods of survival in extreme conditions. Legion of existence Secuiesti community members know very well, and territorial autonomy advocates consider a tool that can get Szekler desiderata set out by the National Secuiesc. Instruction camps are organized in several stages and each year they are held under the aegis of training camps for sports and extreme sports. Physical training camps, usually are held in isolated places on Pusta intinsa between the Danube and Tisza, and extreme sports competitions, rafting, climbing, competitions of winter sports, are held even in Szekely Land in Bicaz and Ciuc Mountains. Financing these activities is provided on the part of private money, business leaders Legion of donations received from businesses in Hungary and Szeklers, which advocates autonomy lore, as well as from public foundations in Hungary, providing funding through private foundations, organizations interpuse for organizing such camps and competitions for extreme sports. The rabid supporters of the Legion are the young priests who serve in the area, and a number of intellectuals who have received scholarships in Hungary.

These Google translations are bad. A bit of Romanian and Hungarian would not go amiss.

The legion exists mostly in Tibor Revesz's imagination.
    Doesnt stop them getting killed.
