And here is a video about the press coverage (Simon Romero, New York Times, Maite Rico, El País, etc) of the plot and Rózsa Flores in particular.
The Family Guy clip regarding the majority of the press coverage is hilarious and so appropriate. It has been absolutely ridiculous.

Of course, Tibor Revesz, the person who seems to have recruited Dwyer, needs to be detained and questioned!
Of course Revesz' role in the neo-Nazi Szekely Legion needs to be investigated, as well as that group's links with Rozsa Flores, Arpad and Toaso!
Of course the links between the Szekely Legion and Shell's I-RMS security personnel in Corrib should be fully investigated also.

But none of the above should be allowed to get in the way of establishing the truth about Michael Dwyer's death in Santa Cruz. At this stage, if anyone claims to know precisely what happened, they are delusional or simply lying.

I am closely following developments via the Bolivian media, of all political shades, and trying to keep an open mind. As of now, I fully agree with the New York Times reporter (linked by Huésped) that this case is anything but open and closed.
Just for a little bit of perspective I think it's important that everyone knows that the clip you posted is from the Bolivian network UNITEL. It is one of Morales' harshest critics and one of the countries most important networks. I've also seen many clips regarding this story from that network. It is not surprising how critical of Morales' government it is when you realize the majority owner of the network is a man by the name of Osvaldo Monasterio Nieme. He is a very wealthy land owner (his family controls land about 3 times the size of the city of Santa Cruz) as well as full owner of a Bolivian bank by the name of Banco Ganadero, and he is a friend and ally of many of the wealthy anti Morales characters already discussed here.

Osvaldo Monasterio Nieme is not a fan of Morales for various reasons, one of them being the fact that some of his land lies on the Mutun property El Mutún - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (the worlds largest iron ore deposit) and which the government just signed a multi billion dollar deal with an Indian company over. Monasterio Nieme wanted to block the Mutun project because some of it was partly on his land (Bolivian law does not give mineral rights to property owners). However, the government expropriated some of that land (which Monasterio Niemes family allegedly received freely as political favors in the past) and made a powerful enemy in Osvaldo Monasterio Nieme. You will be hard pressed to find any positive news regarding Morales or his administration coming from that network.

Just a little perspective regarding where some of the news is coming from.

I agree with your last three paragraphs UHM.

Photo released of Elod Toaso (one of the two under arrest in Bolivia) in the same Santa Cruz hotel and resort that Flores had that photo of him with an Uzi and M16 taken.

Here is a photo I took from TripAdvisor, it's a photo taken by a Danish tourist of their stay at the hotel Buganvillas. Draw your own conclusions, but that looks like the same hotel to me.

The manager of the hotel has said he checked Flores' name against his registry and did not find any match. He also said that it was very possible for him to register under a false identity or to have been a guest of a different person who registered them.

    Hungarian Spectrum: Rózsa-Flores, Eduardo

A new blog on Hungarian Spectrum says that Tibor Revesz has been arrested - as there are no details this may be a mistake.

Fiona Creegan's article runs over a lot of the issues. I notice though that she doesn't mention the US anywhere, in spite of the documentation of bullets being smuggled in by an embassy contact and the expulsion of the US Ambassador Goldberg for subversive activity. I saw the Carpintadas mentioned in a blog, but there doesn't seem to be anything substantial there, whereas there is a clear line linking this with Revesz and the Szekeley Legion and International Bodyguard and Security Services Organisation (IBSS). Both the Legion and the IBSS are perceived by Romanian bloggers as having US military connections.

I'm not sure if this is releant, but in light of the connection between Hungary and Shell to this case it might be of some interest.
    Very interesting.

Are there any more photos of Toaso and Dwyer together or Toaso with weapons? To me, the person sitting down in the right of the photograph looks to be wearing the same type of shirt as Dwyer.
It would be interesting to be able to see Dwyer in the same room as the weapons.

this reporter trying to find out what USAID are doing in bolivia, with various democracy funding projects, there lots of blatent meddling, but then in late 2008 he tolds theres so few staff left no-one can reply to his foi requests

the full parking lot outside the fortress like 'USAID' building would tell different

utopian hermot monk still thinks there reason to doubt the bolivia gov version of the story becuase the terroirst wouldn't be so blatent about it, yet picture after picture emerges of how blatent they are.
