Also the assassin and sniper applications are quite normal and allot of people have these on theirs.

I personally do not believe that Mick was involved in anything of the suggested nature.

I have also known him for a number of years, he is a good person and would not hurt anyone.

    Rest in Peace Michael
You must e-mail David Sharrock in the Times to correct the piece before it goes to print if that is the case. I know from experience that once things are in print they have a habit of being quoted even years later, despite the truth...

Here is the quote from the Times article.
La Prensa, a Bolivian newspaper, described the Irishman, whom it named as Michael Martin Dryer, as a soldier of fortune who fought in the international brigade of the extreme right-wing Croatian Liberation Movement during one of the conflicts which followed the collapse of Yugoslavia.

I think they're talking about the Hungarian ex-Croat major there.

Nope. The quote I posted above refers to Dwyer.

Michael was a really nice guy and would not of been involved with any thing they are saying. I know him and have known him for a long time, he was kind and caring. He is loved by anyone he ever met and would be the first one there if you needed him as he has been for me in the past.

Want to speculate as to what he was doing in Bolivia with far right hardmen who did and would hurt people and probably enjoy it?

Any ideas how he came to be driving a 'new BMW' within weeks of getting there?

You are the third one to join the site today to tell us what a great lad he was but you have all been rather lacking in substance or answers to rather pertinent questions.
