Maybe they got intelligence info from the suspects arrested or maybe they checked Dwyers facebook page and seen he was a member of the Willie O'Dea fan club, either way he wouldn't say such a thing without reason.

This would appear to contradict a report by RTE News that Morales has rejected calls for a probe into the killings and the alleged assassination plot against him.

"Mr Morales told reporters that other countries have no authority to request an investigation.

The Bolivian leader added that international calls coming to the defence of the accused assassins were ill-placed since it was 'these people who came here to make an attempt on the life of the president'."

He hasnt rejected a probe in to the killings. He, like most countries would do, have rejected an international probe into the killings.

You are engaging a disconnect based on your viewpoint

    Run this scenario

You are PM of a Country - An attempt (supposed or otherwise / false flag / covert / whatever) is being made on your life.

Plot unfolds and your potential assasins are terminated

Your country notifies another country half way around the globe that one of their citizens is dead and was involved in an action against your state

A Governement Minister in the dead tangos country immediately goes on a personal defense of the the dead man

    What are you to think?

I have travelled the length and breadth of the Globe and I am never amazed at what activities you can find an Irish person engaging in.

Well, it's a hell of a thing to say (if Morales did say it) ... he'd want to be able to back it up

it would be highly unlikely that a plot to kill a head of state in the 21st century would be carried out with weapons from the early 20th century , almost 100 years old . Those suggesting the weapons dated from a century ago were using deliberate lies in the Irish media to suggest the existence of a plot was a fabrication . That they succeed in getting the media to play along with their deliberate deception and spin points to them having some influence given the fact modern weaponry was put on display in Bolivia .

I strongly believe that elements linked to or culpable in this assassination plot are based in this country

    puh-lease...

swedish neo nazis sell irish republican cds, have supported Irish republican demos in sweden. the BNP sold irish republican music. irish-nationalism.net and stormfront ireland are filled with far far right extremists and irish republicans. some american nazi circles are well known for their republican sympathies. a couple of uda people doing something with c18 isn't loyalism and extreme right politics fitting snuggly together.

    Separate source: Bolivian Radio Noticias

Their website's printed news section is reporting that Morales "questioned the attitude of Budapest, Dublin and Zagreb", and later they quote him as saying "I can (be permitted to) think that they are the ones who ordered the attack on myself and our democracy".

I am listening to the radio now. They are discussing the police investigation, saying that it is anything but clear and transparent. If they include an actual recording of Morales saying the above, I will grab a copy.

Another good point, a lot of Irish people are in the habit of thinking that Irish people are always good and stand for good causes when the reality is generally very different.

    According to this
Plot to assassinate Morales foiled | Indian Country Today | Latin Indigenous
He has actually called for an international help in probing the alleged plot to kill him, while rejecting demands from the home countries of the dead for information

Following the incident, Morales called for international assistance in the investigation of the plot; April 20, INTERPOL Secretary General Ronald Noble announced the international policing agency would help in the investigation

the party who travelled with Dwyer to Bolivia from Ireland will im sure be of great interest .Very odd for the security company to make him buy his own ticket to go for their very odd training course . But then again going by his gargantuan hotel bill it appears he had one hell of an expense account .
