Hi everyone, first time poster on the boards here who has been following this story with interest since it broke.
I'm of the opinion that Mike Dwyer was out there doing no good, wether or not this warranted a full scale shootout I don't know. What is clear is that he was involved with a group of extremely suspect characters. This was no Jean Charles de Menezes.
What has raised my eyebrow more than anything though and what prompted me to register and post is this; Its the scale of the operation that has swung into action to defend this 'innocent' man. it's not just a case of a few friends getting together and jumping on to say their peice, it's more like a full scale damage limitation excercise. And it's just not this site, I saw a few familiar names on boards.ie in the short lived threads there. But also, out in the blogosphere these people are still popping up.
It's worrying now that the media are talking in these same tones, when its abundantly clear that there is much more to this case.
Finally just a note on the tattoo, just to clear this all up for those debating it, it is most definately a nazi symbol, not just the SS at the bottom, but the entire design, and this is probably one of the only fact know about this case to date.
You have previously stated that you do not know for sure why he was in Bolivia. So how do you know that he was not training with the IBA?
No the more important question is where you got IBA from, you are creating a rumour that is damaging a man's character, investigation must be completed before you make such allegations.
Stop dodging the question:
1. I did not say it, I just ask how you can deny it if you do not know why he was in Bolivia?
2. You cannot do much more damage to a nazi's character.
I already mentioned earlier who sent him to Bolivia and you wouldn't accept that.
So I see no point talking to you about any other issues again, you seem to repeat yourself over and over even after the question is answered.
On the six one news his mother said he was in Bolivia "Bodyguarding", The IBA run "Bodyguarding" courses, were he and the 15 others over there originally with a view to participating in one of the IBA courses?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to get at Mike, I just find the IBA to be reprehensible shower, I received a quotation from a firm affiliated to the IBA previously, when I checked into the organisation, I found them to be of questionable credentials,people who claimed a lot of things, but who gave out accreditation to whoever paid them for questionable courses.
This will be my last post on this Forum it has become a joke, hope you guys have fun slandering a good man's name.
