    Papa Ratzi strikes again: Kennedy vetoed

    I'm guessing that the ultra conservative octagenarian pope has his share of admirers in Ireland and for that matter on this forum, and some might even buy into his ludicrous decision to bounce Caroline Kennedy.

    The verdict: not acceptable as ambassador to the Holy See because of her views on abortion. Sorry, but this goes down as an assault on freedom of opinion, overlaid with a soupcon of good old fashioned mysogyny.
