Turkish cops "assault and kill" kurd protestors pre-obama visit (video)

..Kurds in the city of Agri in southeastern Turkey were protesting against government election fraud and got the big stick for it. When the ruling Islamic AKP party found out that they had lost the election in the city to the pro-Kurdish DTP, they waited until all international election observers had left the city and then arbitrarily annulled 3,000 votes for the Kurdish DTP required to "win" the election. Agri is a border province to Armenia and AKP ministers have expressed worries that Kurds will let in "subversive forces" from Armenia if they control border provinces to that country. These protests happened just before President Obama's visit to Turkey, and he totally ignored it. He even expressed support for Turkey's "war on terrorism" once again depicting the legitimate Kurdish struggle for democracy as "terrorism." ...


The red paint you see on the streets are flushed out together with the water and it has two purposes:

1) People that are sprayed with the colored water can later be identified and arrested (but they get a good beating before the arrest);

2) As psychological warfare: terrorizing the population as it resembles blood on the streets.

Demonstrations were carried out between March 29 - April 3, 2009...


I would like to share a second video with your readers, but I must warn that it's a gruesome video. It's taken in the Kurdish village of Amara in the Urfa province in southeastern Turkey, where Kurds were celebrating the imprisoned Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan's birthday. Turkish gendarmerie soldiers shot teargas canisters into the group and hit a young Kurd named Mustafa Dag in the head. Dag died at the spot, bleeding to death when his skull cracked open..



..A second Kurd from the same crowd was killed shortly after. This happened on April 4, 2009.

I watched the 2nd person getting killed and I really am unable to watch the others for fear of what they might contain.

Nobody cares about the Kurds but there is a lesson for all. The Kurds should be coming arround to realising what the gameplan for Iraq is shortly. An independent state for them is not part of the plan

You are right in that, and if Ireland does not wake up it will not be able to exit out the other door if 90 million turks come in the front.

That they would nullify the votes and suppress dissent is one thing, btw where are all the lefties shouting for the kurds rights?

What strikes is me is BHO going there, failing to mention this activity, and lecturing europeans on what a good member of the EU Turkey would make.
