Obama - out of depth already?

Looks like Barry is feeling the pace after just a few short weeks in Office.

'Barack Obama 'too tired' to give proper welcome to Gordon Brown.
Barack Obama's offhand approach to Gordon Brown's Washington visit last week came about because the president was facing exhaustion over America's economic crisis and is unable to focus on foreign affairs'

OK its a fact the Obamas hate the Brits (esp Lady Macbeth) but even so Diplomacy has its own rules that many a Leader has to follow for the sake of good strategic relations.

I hope he doesn't go the same way as Jimmy Carter who almost went under due to the weight of his reponsibilities.

And these are far harder times than the 1970s!

Its this simple: There was too much expected of the man. He was inevitably going to be a disapointment to some people with unrealistic expectations.

I wonder if President McCain would have survived this long or would we already have President Palin.

For sheer comic value then Palin would be great.

If Barry is wilting under the Limelight already then Palin's chances in 2012 increase by the day.

    Go git em Sarah!

You see this what comes in electing an individual with no Executive experience whatsoever as POTUS.

You prefer a proven failure to someone unproven?

Source of the story: the Telegraph.

    Key quote:
"Mr Brown handed over carefully selected gifts, including a pen holder made from the wood of a warship that helped stamp out the slave trade - a sister ship of the vessel from which timbers were taken to build Mr Obama's Oval Office desk. Mr Obama's gift in return, a collection of Hollywood film DVDs that could have been bought from any high street store, looked like the kind of thing the White House might hand out to the visiting head of a minor African state."

Oh, the indignity of it all. Wonder if the Telegraph has clocked that it is a FORMER colony?

These would be the unrealistic expectation which he himself campaigned on his ability to offer?
    A poster of some consequence...
