Where have all these useful idiots gone to?
The world is almost certainly a better place as a result of WWII, but that doesn't mean that WWII itself was a good thing.

I believe WW2 started when Hitler attacked somebody, who did Saddam attack?

So, in summary. A thread dealing with the method used to recruit female suicide bombers in Iraq has turned into the usual.

    America Bad.

Bob, even US lawyers and politicians have been discussing bringing war crimes charges against US Govt officials over their conduct with respect to human rights, laws etc... It was a very 'BAD' government no matter whichever way you look at it.

Of course, you know all along that my criticism is not against 'America' but the activities of the government but conflating things a certain way is useful in FOX News style mediaspeak.

How many suicide bombers would it take to kill 1.5 million people? Say, killing 50 people at a time.

Bob has already dealt quite capably with that load of nonsense. There doesn't seem to be any limit to the fatuous rubbish posted on this site, and all in the name of a profound hatred of the US and its foreign policy for which no good word must be uttered. Pathetic.

Only in Eurocentric history books. WW2 actually began when Japan invaded China.

300,000. US forces killed an estimated 30,000 people in Fallujah.

Fallujah, The Hidden Massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Graphic visual footage of the weapons allegedly being fired from helicopters into urban areas is displayed, as well as detailed footage of the remains of those apparently killed by these weapons, including children and women. The filmmakers interview ex US military soldier Jeff Englehart of Colorado who discusses the American use of white phosphorus, nicknamed "Willie Pete" (codification of "WP" - White Phosphorus) by U.S. servicemembers, in built-up areas, and describes the Fallujah offensive as "just a massive killing of Arabs."
    A truly mind boggling post.

Only difference being, as we all know, Rumsfeld was there to sell him weapons to kill Iranians and Kurds.

The right can try airbrush history all they like, but they never will!

Riiight except that isn't true. The Stockholm Institute assessed the US weapons sales to Saddam at a statistical zero. There was a war on and the us (and the rest of the West including Ireland) were backing Saddam against the mad mullahs.
