"Far left" would be Gay Marraige.
Lets see what he actually wants to do:
1. Add some anti-discrimination and hate crimes laws, and....
2. Repeal the Defence of Marriage Act, which allows a state to ignore another states marriage laws and allows the federal govt to do the same, which is unconstitutional and which Billy Clinton signed in 1996.
The Republican congress passed it betting he'd veto it, their plan was to beat him over the head with it in the election as a wedge issue much the way the gay marriage referendums on state ballots in 2004 brought out Bush's base, gays, abortion guns etc are a great way to get people to vote against their economic interests. Clinton signed it anyway in an attempt to outmanuever them.
(The same year he signed the Communications Decency Act for the same reason, large portions of it were later struck down by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional, but it's purpose was to help Billy get elected and it did that)
3. Repeal "Don't ask don't tell" which even Colin Powell, who opposed gays in the military at the time, says has been a disaster, as do the dozens of flag officers who asked the govt to repeal it.
4. Obamas position on Gay Marriage is the "lets call it a civil union and hope Jesus doesn't notice" position that all Dems have, marriage in all but name basically (including adoption), but he's just personally in favor of it, he's not gonna do anything about it, the federal government has nothing to do with marriage law, it's a state issue.
All in all thats no more radical an agenda than whats already in place in most of Europe, and Isreal, and it's less radical than the set up in f*** South Africa (yes the apartheid people it's less radical than what they have).

Reminds me of just before the election, they were saying that Obama, Pelosi and Reid, with no "checks and balances"* would promote a "dangerious agenda".
This "dangerous agenda" included minimum wage increases and a new union bill (which I'm delighted to see corporations are currently going nuts over
*I had to sn i gger every time I read that considering Bush only used his veto once while the republicans controlled congress, and the congress rubber stamped whatever he wanted.
I also love how the republican party are suddenly fiscal conservatives very worried about the national debt!
