In fairness - Sky and BBC have given the DEC vastly more coverage by refusing to broadcast than they'd have ever gotten by a 2 minute ad.
"Who will bailout the IMF after FF is finished with them?"
bollix to that, both are perfectly entitled to decide what they do and don't air, esp Sky which is a private entity and not a PSB
It is indicative of the influence the Israelis have with the media when they can block humanitarian appeals. The situation in Gaza is a real humanitarian disaster with the people having no housing, running water, electricity. How long will it be until disease takes a foot hold.
The situation is remarkably similiar to the terrible conditions in the Warsaw Ghetto in the second world war.
Are people really saying that the BBC or SKY(if it had existed) would not have had appeals for the poor souls in the Warsaw Ghetto.
Shame on them for bowing to the genocide perpertraters of this Israeli administration.
Those that have Sky subscriptions should consider if they want to be customers of such a spineless organisation.
This is bloody rich. The BBC coverage of the recent conflict was biased to an extraordinary degree against Israel. Are palestinian lobby groups ever happy???
Why are the recession hit British public being asked to part with their hard earned, albeit rapidly depreciating sterling anyway?
Surely the rich gulf states with their trillions of petrodollars could divert a small proportion of their funds for building opulent city states and buying football clubs, racehorses and Kensington/Knightsbridge properties to their Arab bretheren in Gaza.
Unlike some of the African states, noone is going to starve to death in Gaza - unless Hamas decides to block or hold up aid from outside.
Personally i just couldnt give a fiddlers...way more important things going on closer to home that people should be protesting about rather than this
Good for the BBC and SKY. Haven't they done enopugh for the Palestinians with their outrageous one sided reporting. There's thanks for yah!
