    Revolution in Latvia?

Until last year, it was one of the fastest growing economies in Europe.
The violence followed a peaceful protest calling for early elections
Many Latvians frustrated by rising unemployment and tax hikes blame the centre-right governing coalition of Prime Minister Ivars Godmanis for their country's economic woes.

No, just a bit of argy-bargy with the usual minority, many drunk, who like an excuse to smash stuff, the majority making their point peacefully.

Not forgetting the nusual gaggle of criminals who call themselves Anarchists and the far left. Despite these lowlife thugs cuasing trouble and wherever they go and despite their cracked ideological beliefs there are STILL some loons in the world who support them. Hopefully with their first hand experience of the mess that is socialism the Latvian police beat the living daylights out of anyone with slogans by Lenin, Mao or Trotsky and most especially anyone with a Che Guevara T shirt.

Hmmmm... calling for police to beat people up for wearing a certain type of t-shirt?

Isn't that what they would have done under "Socialism"?

    Love this:

Interior Ministry spokeswoman Sigita Pildava said three police officers were seriously wounded. She added that 126 mostly young, male protesters were detained, many of whom were drunk.
Revolution today, hangover tomorrow. lol. Funny how the actions of a bunch of p*ssed up yobs mirrors the ambitions of the Irish 'radicical' left.

It got so bad that the broadcaster considered not entering the Eurovision Song Contest (something we were forced to do in 1983), but thankfully calm was resored when the EBU waived their participation fee.
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.
