    Meanwhile in Zimbabwe.....

While we get almost hourly threads on the latest piece of orchestrated outrage on the events in Israel & Gaza, more than twice as many people have died in Zimbabwe in a (one) man made disaster.

BBC NEWS | Africa | Zimbabwe health crisis 'a crime'

Of course you won't hear about this, because just like North Korea before it, Mugabe is part of the same lefty anti-American mob that wastes everyone's time trying to attribute blame on the west for all the problems of the World.

The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

It's nice to see you feel enough sympathy for these people that you would use their plight to have a dig at people on the internet.

Quit trying to point score in relation to genocides, you sad pr!ck. They're both tragedies, and the very fact you've been able to link to a BBC article indicates that Zimbabwe is not being ignored.
But just as Israel remains intractable so long as America protects it, so does Mugabe's Zimbabwe thanks to the protection of South Africa's ANC and Thabo Mbeki in particular.
SOME of us have been watching, visiting and warning the world about Zimbabwe for some time, you'll be delighted to hear.

What else is there to do? I'm simply making sure that the issue doesn't continue to be ignored here. There no protests, petitions etc. because people are ignoring the issue. When will there be a protest to the South African embassey condeming their support which is key in keeping Mugabe in power? I wouldn't hold me breath.

If you want to take action, then take action.
Have you written to the ambassador to express your disgust? Or to the Department of Foreign Affairs?
Are you prepared to organise a protest at the SA embassy yourself?

There is nothing trendy about Zimbabwe. It is a great pity, that it has the world turning its back on it.

P.S. You could add China in to that list, Mao is still a here to many on the left.
