The UN may get the assuance, but it won't be worth the paper it is written on. The Sri Lanken government is close to winning the open warfare side of the conflict, but the tigers are far from finished. I can't see them agreeing to peace while their terror networks are still intact and able to carry out attacks.Originally Posted by Andrew49

Only in so far as there will be finality to the open military phase of the Sri Lanken offensive. Thus the term 'final solution' should not be misused.
