Why does this simplistic left/right crap always arise when discussing foreign conflicts.
What exactly is left wing these days anyway? The Pope has described Gaza as being like a concentration camp. Is he a leftie? Are Islamists lefties?
Can you not oppose an injustice without being labelled a leftie?
Just 1 gramme of cocaine destroys 4m2 of tropical jungle. Give it up ya selfish b'stards.

Keith there was a lot of them on the last march but this issue should not be hijacked by them .
It is now time for all decent people to call a stop to the murder of innocent women and children and UN workers.

The pictures have been deeply disturbing. In my humble opinion, escalation of violence will only bring deeper problems to Israel. If I lived in Gaza I would be joining Hamas now instead of blogging.

Actually we should have a banner from P.ie?

Someone who is pro-Israeli slaughter not wanting notification of a democratic march posted ...Now who'd would have expected that

ps. I thought you and your fellow Zionnazis were boycotting p.ie ....Zero conviction to follow up "threats" ?
    WTF!

    1. Where did I state I did not want notification of march?
    2. I am not a Zionnazi.
    3. I am not boycotting P.ie.
    4. I do not support slaughter by anyone.
    5. I recognise Israel's right to defend itself.
    6. I believe that Hamas is a terrorist organisation.

Those opposed to the march should also attend to voice their support for Israeli actions.

This is a democracy, you have a right to support the Zionnazis., but do you have the courage of your convictions to actuallly show your faces in public?...I don't think so.

You are a cowardly lowlife who support the butchery of children by Israel and would not dare show your face. NOT because of YOUR unsupported scaremongering that you may be assaulted, you know this is not the case. There will be Gardai there. The marchers have more to fear from Mossad.

Whatever people's own positions are in terms of Israel, surely, like most of the civilised world, people should support calls for an end to the genocide that is taking place in Gaza. John Ging, and Irish man, and head of UN humanitarian aid work in the strip seems to be a most reasonable man IMO and I will certainly take his word over anything that IDF or their surrogates say.

This isn't an issue of right and left. This is about humanity, pure and simple.

Even those most vocal in their support for Israel must surely realise in their hearts what they are doing is dispicable and amounts to nothing but bloody murder on a mass scale. The IDF told blatant lies about their slaughter of 43 people at a UN school and have been found out. They have dropped leaflets telling people in rural areas to move into urban areas because they are going to be bombed, and they have told people in urban areas to move to rural areas for the same reason.

It is obvious to me that the vast majority of Irish people support the people of Palestine and this is reflected in the government's strong condemnation of Israel. I hope that people do come out and support this march.
