Nuclear war in the Middle East?

With the Israeli's hell bent on destroying Hamas/Gaza/Palestine, what odds that sooner or later other Arab countries will get involved. Hizbollah are now firing rockets into Israel. Unless there is a diplomatic solution and quickly expect an "IDF" attack on Lebanon also. If this- god forbid, happens Syria/Iran and possibly Egpyt will get involved. The doomsday clock is ticking away.
One piece of good news though, Barack Obama will surely not toe the Israeli line like George W Bush did.
Lets start practicing Nuclear fallout drills, and find some shelters just in case.

I think Israel is the only nation that you listed that actually has a Nuke.

If the palestinians actually got hold of a nuke however, it would put manners on a lot of people very very quickly in the middle east.... the idea of mutually assured destruction does wonders for opening other avenues of conversation.

    1. Obama will most definitely tow the line
    2. The majority of Arab states would never, never dream of involving themselves militarily in this whole mess, not these days anyway. Not even Iran has the balls to intervene directly.

I think you are underestimating the power of the pro-Israeli lobby. Obama has to face the reality of US politics.

Haha, think you will find it was not just George Bush who has been pro-Israel.
It goes back a lot longer than him. Obama embraced the Israel lobby in the election. His chief of staff is Jewish and a big supporter of the Israeli government.

Obama's Chief of Staff is a former IDF member and his high position in the US government can only lead one to conclude that the Zionists have infiltrated the US government at the highest level.

That fact there are Muslims in European governments does not mean radical Islamists have infiltrated Western governments, it would be stupid to suggest such a ting. The same goes for the US government and other religons. Does the presense of Mitt Romney mean Mormons have infiltrated the US government?
