Yes in all probability Pakistani Intelligence Services are behind this

    - but probably have built up enough layers between them and the perpetrators to avoid direct blame.

However this won't wash with Delhi and most Indians either.

They might hold off this time but if something like this were to happen again within months the public pressure on Centre to act might be very high.

Meanwhile in the real world, authorities are still keeping mum on who they think it was. Not Trampas, even if it wasn't Muslims, he'll still use it as an angle to berate ALL Muslims. Now that is extreme.

Let's entertain the idea that it was Muslims though, here's what Christine Fair has to say,
Christine Fair, senior political scientist and a South Asia expert at the RAND Corporation, was careful to say that the identity of the terrorists could not yet be known (maybe they didn't speak to Trampas). But she pointed to India’s domestic problems, and long tensions between Hindus, who make up about 80 percent of India’s population of 1.13 billion, and Muslims, who make up 13.4 percent.

“There are a lot of very, very angry Muslims in India,” Ms. Fair said. “The economic disparities are startling and India has been very slow to publicly embrace its rising Muslim problem. You cannot put lipstick on this pig. This is a major domestic political challenge for India.
Hmmmmmm, economic disparities, slow to embrace its Muslim population, sounds like a recipe for disaster.

India is a democracy. Remember the BJP trying to ban the killing of cows? Didn't happen. Remember the Mosque destroyed at Ayodhya (s?)? It is due to be rebuilt. Sharia law for Muslims? Tick that box too. Political representation? The PM is a Muslim. So what the **** are Indian Muslims angry about? Methinks it is the temerity of Hindus to exist insults the warped senses of the knuckle draggers in the reliogn of perpetual outrage. Some Muslims somwhere are always angry, always grievance mongering. High time people pointed out it is their own fault that they fail to control the fanatics and instead wallow in self pity in the hope that the rest of the world will ignore the roots of th fanaticism that exists in their holy scriptures and from the mooths or their holy men. I get the feeling that the furious spinning by Islamists and their apologists in the West has to do with the fact that less and less people are buying into the "tiny minority of extremists due to the evil west" excuse.

From media reports, it seems that the attacks were indiscrimate against anything non-muslim or pro-western. Pure terrorism in its worst form.

Turn on your TV, that is the 'terror' being discussed. And it is Islamic.
The definition of the word terrorist is very important if one wants to have an unbiased discussion on the topic. Most people completely misuse it. (associating it with the indiscriminate killing of civilians)

This is the real world. Muslims causing havoc to society. What planet are you on exactly if you think that it was anything other than an extremist Muslim sect that carried out these attacks.

What do you do for a living? Are you a closet terrorist? Have you been recruited by Islamists in Ireland? Would the Irish authorities be interested in your daily activities? Having looked at your posts on here I'll bet they would be very interested.

They are hardly causing havoc to society, come on, lets get some perspective please. Almost nobody is going to die at the hands of Islamic extremists in the western world in for the rest of the year, and probably the same next year. It isn't actually that big of a problem and I would consider the financial crisis to be of far greater concern to my immediate well being and I'd say the same is true of almost everyone leaving in the western world.

The title of this thread should be changed - there are 150 deaths now.

May I suggest that, before being allowed to post on P.IE, all members be required to submit all 10 fingerprints along with a DNA sample, as well as filling in the full details of their political and religious beliefs and agreeing to be fitted with a RFID tracking chip?

Metric. Do the right thing. Call the Guards and inform them of this discussion immediately!
