    Irish Man Killed in Afghanistan

RTÉ News: Irish man killed in Afghanistan

A 32 year old from Westport was killed by an explosive device.

    RIP.

Can I ask that psycho nationalists repect the dead this time and not say that he deserved it for being in the British Army? Thank you.

Talk about calling people out for a fight.
Maybe if your language was more temperate your thread might have generated a good debate.
Instead you started the discussion with insults and now you can wait for your fellow pyschos (of a different hue) to start scrapping.

Well having said my piece I humbly recuse myself from yours and their company.

Similar remarks were made about other irish who have died in British and American forces in recent years not to mention the who debate we had about the poppy.

Surely even if someone disagrees about someone fighting for a foreign force, they could hardly see the murder as an appropriate response.

That's rich coming from a person who has gone onto threads about dead Republicans and put vile obsenecenties on the thread. My condolences to this dead mans family.

Presumably, he was killing others? - or don't they count?

The risk of death goes with being a mercenary and I don't understand why there should be any need to feel sorry for the death of this particular mercenary merely because he is Irish.

Eh...what now? I would strongly urge you to check with someothers. The likes of RoC and Factual know that I have no time for SF, but as for "vile obscentities" about the dead, I have never said a word about anyone day. I sympathised on the death of SF members on Donegal last week.

In your sad little world you are more concerned with having a go at someone than seeing the real human tragedy.
