Can some moderator please pull this thread?
I support this - news is news but to give a forum for some to vent insulting comments is not a very tasteful use of this site. The guy who dies will not read them but his family will.
    We are "they"

*************************! You have just lost any credibility you may have had with that remark after the OP asked people to RESPECT the dead man's family!

You didn't, it was a wind-up. Have you no principles at all?

It does doesn't it. I can see through the issue, through all the propaganda and emotional bullsh.it to the crux of the issue. Two hired gunmen, mercenaries, were killed in a foreign land where they had no business being. They deserve nothing but our scorn.

Imagine if someone had posted a similar remark about the Gibraltar three. All the dead should be respected.

Really? Their families should be ashamed of themselves for raising sons who would hire themselves out as killers for Britain.

Lads enough of the slagging, even though I don't agree with those men fighting in Afghanistan their families are in mourning and deserve our sympathy.

People put up stuff about dead Republicans on this site everyday, that's what having opinions is about. Why do all dead have to be respected, should we respect Cromwell, Saddam, Hitler and De Valera just because they are dead?
If you can't handle the conflicting opinion raised by your thread then you should not have introduced the topic.

They deserve nothing. Some may choose to offer sympathy, as is their right, but I have nothing but contempt.

I must agree. I would be lying if I said I felt sympathy for these guys.
    I mean why feign sympathy?
Just as we warn kids about the dangers of drugs, we should be educating Irish kids about the perils of getting involved with Imperialsit armies. The recent glory parade in Belfast will no doubt entice more gullible Irish youth into the clutches of the evil Godfathers of Whitehall.
Just 1 gramme of cocaine destroys 4m2 of tropical jungle. Give it up ya selfish b'stards.
