I don't really give a dam tbh, although I must admit that the Afghan war has merit. When I hear U.S troops are killed in Iraq...I'm quite happy, that is what they deserve for their illegal war in Iraq.

The Iraqi's had nothing to do with 9/11, nor did they have WMD's. America lied to UN and the world about this. UN inspectors clearly said there was NO WMD's. They were ignored. Look at the Plame case where an agent of US was exposed as such for speaking against the lies (yellow cake), while not treason it is VERY close to it.
I still feel sorry for the young kids dying out there, US and otherwise.
(remember - it is more correct to attack someone far away.... if you attack someone on your borders you are BAD)
You would stop feeling sorry for american soldiers if they had murdered your entire family at a check point in your own country.Originally Posted by the klingon
They didn't have to as the Iraquis were blatantly in breach of the ceasefire agreements from the first Gulf War and effectively all the Americans did was cancel the ceasefire...Originally Posted by Jacobin

For sure, if murderers get murdered very few lose sleep over it. But not all the soldiers are there to do that. Some are there to get a college pass or to better themselves. Some are even there because they were told they had to defend their country and believed what the media and the gov told them, and TBH who can blame them? Sure I feel sorry for any innocent person when they die, it isn't just a cut and dry thing that they were in the wrong place. They were told that was the RIGHT place to be. We haven't grown up with the US experience, and to discount the infuences on people is equally as naive as they are sometimes.Originally Posted by Jacobin
So even though they are a hostile invading force, sure, I feel sorry for them.
