NIST: Fire, not explosives, brought down WTC 7

The NIST Report into the collapse of Tower 7 at the World Trade Centre has finally been issued. Their conclusion? The Fires brought it down
Not explosives, not some cockamamie demolition job planned decades in advance using super sekrit explosives, not fuel air bombs. The extensive fires caused by the collapse of the other towers, the failure of the sprinklers (because, you know, the other towers fell) the damage caused &c &c. In other words: The Occam's Razor principle won out, not for the first time.

Of course, Dylan Avery, NWO Buster, the crazed thruthers who hang around here and the rest of that mob are probably even now furiously masturba^Wproving that the sneaky scientists are all part of the conspiracy.

Re: NIST: Fire, not explosives, brought down WTC 7

After 2 years of study NIST decided that the only thing they can think of is fire, but it "had a low probability" of having caused the collapse.

After 7 years of study NIST decide that, actually, it was just fire.

This must have been the longest fire study in history, and the investigation comes down to "we heard the building was on fire, thats what must have done it".

    NIST is incompetent.

it doesn't need to be competent when there's no shortage of apes out there who'll believe any bullsh1t NIST feeds them

The rocket bombs which fell daily on London were probably fired by the Government of Oceania itself...

Funny... first thing that is attacked is the fact that NIST apparently is impartial and incompetant....

Yet not one of your is an engineer of any sort or indeed have any other theory which is backed up with anything approaching evidence...

Leaving conspiracy theories aside, one thing is certain... The American Gov knew the country was going to be attacked... and did nothing to prevent it... that is the question that needs to be answered...

    Why?

Read the entire report, have you? All volumes? All the appendices? Review the modelling used?

NIST haven't said that's what must have done it - they've shown precisely how it did it. As Conor said - it is utterly unsurprising that the first out of the blocks changes the entire debate by attacking NIST.
