    Not true. The Hazara are Shia but the rest of the Northern Alliance are Sunni. The NA no longer exists as an entity, if it ever did. Only in the area around Herat where Persians live would there be support for Iran. Remember Afghanistan and Iran almost went to war in 2000.

    Almost went to war was because Taliban murdered Iranian accredited diplomats in Herat.
