    Miliband launches leadership campaign?

David Miliband has penned an article for The Guardian outlining his vision for the Labour party. He is planning a national tour in September to explain the workings of the Foreign Office. Has he unofficially launched his leadership campaign?

As I said on the other thread, he won't, if he has the sense he was born with, move before Labour have lost the election, which is inevitable.

Suggest to keep discussion on Gordon Brown here: Gordon Brown & Labour going down ?

Yes Milliband is clearly testing the waters, will be interesting to see who flocks to his flag. I think Cameron will take Milliband ... which is a pity as Milliband is a nicer creature than "The Clunking Fist".

Only question now is what will Harman and Straw do ?

Miliband has "leadership hair". He clearly has the right stuff to be PM.

    Straw's damaged.

Harman should wait until the inevitable defeat - but probably won't.

Milliband is an unavowed Marxist. His father was an avowed one. New Labour will follow the path of Fabain revolution in Britain, just like Blair did. He is certainly the right man in the right place for "the job".

    Exactly...WTF?
Voters don't decide issues, they decide who will decide issues.

Have to wonder at this question, Kf?

I suspect Miliband may be forced to move before the election because if the rout was as bad as some a prediction being leader after would mean he would never get to be PM. If he takes over before and the party loses only marginally (Labour hold just under 250 seats) he has something salvageable that he could steer back to power.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.
