Bush Impeachment Hearing Vincent Bugliosi hammers Bush!

We are not allowed to use the word impeachment for Bush's Impeachment Hearing so please disregard my title.
Also ignore the crowd applauding the former prosecutor's words, that too is not allowed.

Bugliosi is on much more solid ground in that great book he wrote that tore all the JFK conspiracy theories to bits. Bush isn't going to be impreached and Bugliosi should be smrt enough to know that.

Yes. The Ringmaster is as much as star of the circus as the clown, that maybe is the point of this.

Who in their right minds do not understand that most congressmen are bought and paid for. Did they not watch what happened when the impeachment papers were introduced last year and the dems voted against them.
Bugliosi is not interested in impeachment he wants Bush charged with serious criminal offenses. My understanding is that one of the 50 State Attorneys General would have to bring charges at this point of time as they are the only ones that can bring charges against a sitting President.

The Democrat controlled houeses know that impeaching Bush would mean their own candiate for the Whitehouse would be undermined (if he gets the job) in anyhthing he tries to do to correct Bushes mistakes in Iraq and the war on terror, beyond cutting and running and releasing (without charge) all detainees. Anything beyond those unacceptable options would be in the realms of illegality no matter how well intentioned, if Bush were succesfully impeached or the process in chain.

American must extracate itself from much of Bushes mess but cannot escape the necessity of tackling extremism. It is a difficult balancing act, but the honour and prestige of America now rest with the Democrats. In reality they realise that many of Americas critics will never be placated, so they will continue to look towards their own interests first. In short, impeaching Bush is in no ones interests (or at least anyone who matters).

It would be asking a bit much for the democrats to do what is right rather than what might favour them politically. I question the belief that it would not favour them politically anyway last year. Even though Pilosi herself did not clearly call for impeachment in Nov 2006 the understanding was that it was on the cards
