Russia has about 50 times more nukes than China, if the Commies so much as invade an inch of Russian soil, they're getting a full nuclear strike for their troubles.

People in Russia worry about this for 20-30 years from now. Some point to the immigration of Chinese people into siberia as evidence that it is happening already.
Russia is reforming its military at the moment - spending billions. They are due to launch a new GPS system shortly, while China is planning to use the EU's version.

Invasion? Not likely. Ever. SOF magazine is a rag like most simular publications.
Russia is worried about the influx of Chinese immigrants, culture and goods into its territory and no doubt there will be tension in the future. But it is a long way off yet.
Russia is dying. That is the demographic reality. One way or another they will cede large parts of their territory to China. The best thing would be for them to sell it.
This invasion has already started economically, Russians are lazy bastards and they allow Chinese illegals in to work for them and Chinese goods pour over the border with little control.
The guys in Moscow are concerned only with getting raw materials out of Siberia and let the locals do what they wish in their own area as long as their interests are protected.
Most land in Siberia just sits there and does nothing, no way would the Russians fire a nuke at China, they would have another Afghanistan situation right beside their Oil assets.
Russia cannot afford to piss off China they intend to sell them a lot of Siberian Oil.
If the Chinese tried anything as silly as an invasion of Russia, there would be the greatest slaughter in the history of mankind. Russia has thousands of nukes and would not hesitate for a moment to use them. China would be glassed over. Anyone who invades Russia fails, read your history.
