    Difference between China and Burma

Much has been made of the military Junta's absolute control in Burma. The question I pose is :
Is there any difference (other than style) between the Communist Party's hold on power and the Burmese Junta's?

The Burmese junta's control is based upon aid and support from the CCP, in addition to terror of the Burmese people.
The CCP's control is based purely on terror of the Chinese people.

Would it not be extremely difficult to rock the boat given the suppression of protests, communication by internet any form of anti-government organisation etc.

No, I can't really see any differences. Attacking Burma seems to be Western governments' way of assuaging their guilt at staying silent over China's human rights record.

The weirdest group of countries in the world are China Burma and North Korea. The latter two being propped up by the former.
