Bertie bullies Bush into Washington meeting today

    Exclusive

Bertie Ahern today met with President Bush, a rather embarassed President Bush.

The Irish Embassy in Washington has been trying to 'fandangle' a meeting with Bush for some time, however it was not on the schedule given to journalists this morning.

However, despite the failure of the Irish Embassy to arrange the meeting, Bertie Ahern himself today announced that he was meeting with President Bush and to the shock of his staff, embassy staff and White House staff, the meeting took place.

One source told me tonight that the US President was pretty much 'bullied' into the meeting, for if the meeting were not to happen, the White House feared a high profile 'internaional incident'.

Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.
