I was reading that on the Nitelink home. It's a good article, and one of the most balanced ones I've read in a while. The concluding bit about Hamas is a bit simplistic, though.

Really? I thought it was very simplistic in general and didn't even come close to going into the complexity of what is probably the most complex conflict in the world today.Originally Posted by Pidge

Very simplistic at best. Anyone who thinks that pre-67 borders is going to happen is misguided. People who think that should get real. Israel is never going to go back to a time when it's borders were not secure. Israel is going to stay in a position where she can defend her borders from a position of strength and not rely on hope and a prayer, which was the case before 67 when she was defending her borders
Fight terror, support Israel!

Can I ask that you hold yours though?
Zionism is as big a blight on this world as its dark twin Nazism was. I wonder which will have caused the more deaths before this shameful chapter in human existence is closed? I'm pretty sure it's going to prove to be the former.
Palestinians at 60. Still fighting a war they cannot win on behalf of vested interests who prefer to keep them in refugee camps as second class citizens.
"If the Germans land in Ireland they will be welcomed as liberators".
Yes, because if Iran and Syria had never told the Palestinians to hate the Israelis they never would have given it a thought.
Retreat to pre 1967 borders, apologise and pay compensation to all Gaza Strip and West Bank citizens for damage, confiscation to property and land during the occupation. Negotiate finiancial compensation to Palestinian refugees and IDPs.Originally Posted by Rocky
Not really that complex.
