Theres a feeling in the news report that Iraq is his little playground, no mention of the reality of the war and what these troops have done to another nation.

This is the worst thought out publicity stunt ever, cameras have been following him and he's obviously uncomfortable in the job and isnt really doing anything.
Eh? Did you even read the report?

Fair play to anyone who goes over there, in particular this young man who could have opted for a far cushier number.

No, because those insurgent group haven't got a brain between them, they'd never think of a why to find what would be the highest profile hostage ever.
if they were that intent on kidnapping him they would have found out he went, I didn't hear that they did? they would have noticed the lack of photos of him falling out of clubs in the past weeks.
What does the Irish President spend their time doing. Work in progress

What report says he can't use a gun? Where does he say he's a hero?
I don't see how Iraq could be a playground to him, seeing as he was in Afghanistan.

Drudge's behaviour is a disgrace. The British, Irish, American and other media have all known about this story. But ALL embargoed it until he was out of there to avoid putting the lives of Harry, soldiers in his unit, and civilians where he was, all at risk. The PA photos were taken as part of the deal with the media: if you don't cover it, we'll let one news agency go there and take some pictures which you can use once he has done his tour of duty.

Drudge by its actions has endangered lives. The kid had b*lls to go at a time when the government and his family would have accepted a decision not to. Drudge was more interested in flogging a story than in the fact that in breaking the embargo they put lives at risk. Shame on them. It is that sort of behaviour that gives the media a bad name.

Have said nothing pro or against him.

Other than making the point that they conveniently got the story out just before he came home so he can be classed as a hero.

Its UK Establishment Spin to a tee and stage managed pretty well.
Classes as a hero for doing is job? Hardly. I say fair play to anybody who goes out there.
Same. Of all people he had the greatest chance to beg off active service in Afghanistan. By "Brit Royal Harry", you mean Prince Harry, I take it?

It's Second Lieutenant Wales to something like that when he's in uniform. I know a few people who were at Sandhurst with him and most of them though he was a sound bloke.

Sorry theyre murdering in so many countries sometimes its hard to keep up.

If the British media can cover this up at the snap of the British governments finger, what else can they cover up.

This was a publicity stunt for the British army, i dont buy it

No doubt all the royal fans will be swooning over their golden boy.

They weren't covering it up, they were subject to an embargo on the stort and they reapected it and did so for very good reason. Breaking it would put lives at risk.

A publicity stunt how? Even if it is, I doubt you would be their target audience.
