Death By Stoning for Adultery ... without the Adultery.

The two sisters were found guilty of adultery - a capital crime in Iran - after the husband of one of the pair presented a video showing them in the company of other men while he was away.

The pair admitted they were in the video but argued there was no adultery as no scene on the video showed them engaged in a sexual act.
Isn't sharia law just so warm and cuddly.

Adultery is a capital crime in Iran. Yeah, these are the kind of states whose side we should be on.

Quite the pro-life country, isn't it?

Interestig to see if this generates the same heat that a recent simular Saudi verdict did - in which the convicted was pardoned (I think).

No, she was whipped as a punishment so it was a very relative acquittal.

It is worth pointing out that under sharia law adultery means sexual acts with anyone other than one's marriage partner. Given this, 2 single people having sex are committing adultery and liable to death by stoning if caught.

    Wonderfully forgiving and tolerant eh?

Here's another cracker from the Middle East:

"The report described how the women are sold at public auctions for as much as $10,000 and forced to work up to 18 hours a day."

Sold at public auctions? Where's this, Alabama in 1850? Not quite...

"Last year, the United Nations named Israel as one of the main destinations in the world for trafficked women"

I would imagine it is a destination in the sense that it is a trafficking hub. I doubt it is the case that Israel is swimming in trafficked women. The country is smaller than Wales, attempts by zionists notwithstanding
