CNN are reporting her husband saying she was shot in the neck, not killed by the bomb.
BBC say there are contradictory statements from her party, with some saying she's been killed, others saying she's been badly injured.
What is the risk now of outright civil strife in Pakistan - a nuclear power? Will the fundis fill the power vacumn?
She was never going to survive long in that crazy country. This will inspire the likes of Al Qaeda and other Islamic groups to up the ante in Pakistan.
