    Oxford Union 26 November 2007

Looks like a mob of PC thugs and bogus anti Fascists intend to break up a legally convened meeting of the Oxford Union tonight as Nick Griffin and David Irving are due to deliver speeches before one of Britain's most illustrious debating societies.

Personally I think this kind of behaviour is a disgrace and an attack on the fundamentals of Democracy over there.

One thing is for sure if the BNP were to ship in 10 coach loads of thugs to smash up a meeting of those who disagree with them then Nick Griffin would find himself hauled before the Courts and convicted.

If violence breaks out tonight and innocent members of the public are injured I hope it’s the organisers of this demonstration are charged and convicted for their behaviour!

The irony of it all......... protests and attempts to stop the meeting going ahead, all because some right-wing figures were invited to give speeches on free speech.

it would be interesting if the BNP organised for a dozen of its members to rally outside debating societies and prevent pro-immigration speakers from taking to the podium. I'd imagine that those who attempt to silence Nick Griffin, or Justin Barrett in this country, wouldn't see any similiaritites between their own actions and such BNP activity.

Still, left- and right- wingnuts need each other to make each other seem relevant. Without the right wing, lefties just look like lunatics, and vice versa
