The book has been a huge seller in the US. Written by 2 academics of high standing, who are now of course being, er, criticised for their bravery. Concerns the disproportionate influence of the Israel/Jewish lobby in the formulation of US foreign policy. Not that this will be news to many people. A lot done. More to do.

The indignation and bile spewed out by Abraham Foxman of the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) alone will make many people curious as to what the book is all about.

A welcome lifting of a taboo by American authors. It says a lot that the US is virtually the only country whose govt almost always supports every war and occupation Israel gets itself into (Germany only does this to make up for its Holocaust of the Jews).

Why would I do that? I don't throw around the label 'anti-semite' lightly. That should only be reserved for those who are. And I don't know if these men are or are not. I haven't read their book. However it will be interesting to see if they mention that the US gives in aid to other countries in the region like Egypt, Turkey, Jordan etc. and what they get in return from those states. I'd love to know what the US gets in return from them. I know what Israel gives in return and it's money well spent by the Americans. And it would be very interesting to see if they mention the most powerful lobby group in the world, OPEC. They are the ultimate Arab lobbyists with much more clout than Israel or Israeli lobbyists
