i was given one 40 years ago, but alas no longer have it;
what would it be worth now?

I have a 1968 Kennedy half dollar, which sits pride of place in the see-through ID part of my wallet.

Yeah, I think there was only the half-dollar... I have one somewhere, probably in the 'big box of stuff' under my old bed in my folks house, along with my stamp collection, Smiths tapes, and collection of belt buckles.Originally Posted by bagel

Fu*k no! My bad taste had it's limits... except when it came to hair cuts. Remember the short back and sides with an 8 inch fringe? That was me, that was.Originally Posted by bagel
Bagel. If you coin was 1964 it is worth maybe 5 dollars. 1965 on would allow you to buy a bagel. For about 16 dollars you can buy a silver dollar from the 1890's in good condition like they have in the westerns. A wise investment these days.
jazus coles, and i thought the punks had killed all you lot off;
maybe they contented themselves with just kicking the s***e out of ye;
bring back slade!
Even commodity-wise, it's a good investment. Do you remember when a US penny was worth more intrinsically than extrinsically, ie the penny when melted down was worth 1.14 cent at copper's peak?Originally Posted by youngdan
