I can recommend a documentary called "promises" made by an Israeli. He interviewed a group of Jewish kids and a group of Arab/Palestinian kids. Its amazing to see their views and understanding of the conflict

In one scene he asks a Jewish settler kid in the West Bank and Palestinian kid who owns the land. Each pull out a piece of paper to show that they own it. The Palestinian shows a land deed issued by the British Mandate. The Jewish kid pulls out the bible and shows the part where god grants the land to jews.

In another part, the filmaker smuggles the Palestinian kid and his grandmother back to the family lands on the coast. They used to have olive groves, bu the land is now barren and unused. When they find the ruins of their house, the grandmother pulls out the key to the long-gone door and said she had kept it for 60 years hoping to enter her home again.

The doc has been show around the world, including on TG4. But it has never been shown on Israeli TV

I happen to know who "LJ user avrom" (mentioned on the map and, indeed, its principal supporter) is.

He leads an outright marginal, ultra-right-wing movement named Bead Artseinu.

Their position is as relevant for Israeli politics as RSF is for Irish politics; in fact, unlike RSF, I think they don't even have councillors or a theoretical armed wing. They're an Internet-based talking shop (largely Russian speaking, which is why I know the stuff).

Thank you for the translation. I did say that support for this ridiculous idea of a "Greater Israel" came from the more extreme Israelis.

However if you strictly follow the quote in Genesis, which is used as one of the justifications for the present Israeli land-grab, it does suggest a lot more real estate than is presently occupied by the Israelis.

There is another Old Testament quote which is also used... Moses announced to the Jews in Deuteronomy 11:24, that "Every place where you set the soles of your feet shall be yours. Your borders shall run from the wilderness to the Lebanon and from the River, the river Euphrates, to the western sea."

Using ancient quotes to justify modern land acquisitions is a very dangerous business...
