Has a hardship fund for victims of the recent floods in the UK been set up?

Think Dr Mark Doorley of the Mail is starting one.. or at least complaining about one. Bono and Bob should organise a concert really

Great idea about the letter but surely 171533 is a little bit tightfisted. Perhaps 10 million or so in light of the strong historical, economical and cultural links we share.

Perhaps we should give them another few upland counties? or settle the Rockall dispute for once and for all. They could put a union Jack on it to assist the rescue helicopters when it all goes under. Climate change beats the 'Ra any day.

    Send them Longford.

Or how about recalling the child murderers from Iraq and spreading the resulting savings about.

Refugees? Take a few of them in. There's a vacant campsite near the M50

I dont see any point in sending money when there is more than enough cabbage in British government coffers to foot the bill. Prehaps our glorious president should send a stern letter outlining the foolishness of building houses on flood plains.
The square root of the golden ratio times pi is close to 4, this product is 3.996168.
