Iran takes 14 squirrels into custody

The animal stories today just get weirder and weirder.

Read about it from Sky News (http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/...274983,00.html)

Police in Iran are reported to have taken 14 squirrels into custody - because they are suspected of spying.

The rodents were found near the Iranian border allegedly equipped with eavesdropping devices.

The reports have come from the official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Didn't the Russian try something like this or it was tried on the Russians. A cat was trained and fitted with spy paraphernalia and when it was sent off on active duty was was run over by a car and killed.

they should eat them as a warning to others .

You see now why Michael McDowell was so keen to abolish it here. Far seeing man. They could do with him in Tehran.
